Resumen

ANTECEDENTES: la Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) versión de tamizaje es una escala breve y ampliamente utilizada para evaluar riesgo suicida. En Chile no se han examinado sus propiedades psicométricas en población universitaria. OBJETIVO: examinar las propiedades psicométricas de la C-SSRS versión de tamizaje en estudiantes universitarios en Chile. MÉTODO: participaron 2.547 estudiantes universitarios (61,7% mujeres; edad promedio: 20,6 años), quienes respondieron una encuesta en línea que incluyó la C-SSRS versión de tamizaje autorreporte de seis ítems, instrumentos para medir síntomas de depresión, de ansiedad generalizada, bienestar y variables sociodemográficas. Se utilizó análisis factorial confirmatorio para examinar la estructura factorial de la escala, se estimó su confiabilidad y validez basada en la relación con otras variables. RESULTADOS: la estructura unifactorial de la C-SSRS mostró índices de ajuste aceptables y una consistencia interna adecuada (α = 0,78 y ω = 0,83). Se observaron correlaciones positivas débiles a fuertes con medidas de depresión, ideación suicida y/o autolesiones, y con ansiedad generalizada (ρ entre 0,38 a 0,75; p < 0,001), así como una correlación negativa moderada con la medida de bienestar (ρ = -0,41; p < 0,001). CONCLUSIONES: los resultados respaldan el uso de la C-SSRS versión de tamizaje en población universitaria.
